Dr. Alex GU is a hospitalist of Jiahui International Hospital. Dr. Gu obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Medicine from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Jiahui, Dr. Gu worked as an attending physician in the Geriatrics Department of Shanghai Xinhua Hospital, specializing in the treatment of cardiovascular disease in the elderly where she gained experience in the comprehensive treatment of common diseases and perioperative management. For six months in 2011, Dr. Gu had was an international visiting research fellow at Cardiology department of Yamagata University Faculty of Medicine in Japan. In 2017, Dr. Gu joined Jiahui and was enrolled in the Renji-Jiahui Hospitalist Training Program. In 2018, she received professional training at Massachusetts General Hospital as a hospitalist as well as a member of Jiahui palliative care team. She is committed to developing patient-centered palliative care at Jiahui. Dr. Gu is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
