Hecate LIU graduated from Shanghai University of Sport in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Rehabilitation. As a student, she provided Shanghai Marathon athletes with post-match support. Prior to joining Jiahui Health, she served as an intern in the Rehabilitation Department of the Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. During the internship, she rotated through Orthopedics, Thoracic Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery, and received training on early post-operative rehabilitation as well as rehabilitation programs in ward for Neurology or ICU patients. She is skilled in kinesitherapy and physical therapy. After joining Jiahui Health, she worked with the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team to provide professional pre-match protective measures and post-match rehabilitation support in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour.
Hecate received RYT 200 training (200-hour yoga teacher training). She is a professional coach certified by the Chinese Bodybuilding Association (CBBA), and a sports nutritionist certified by the Chinese Sports Nutrition and Food Society-Chinese Institution of Food Science and Technology (CSNFS-CIFST). She specializes in treating sports injuries, neck, shoulder and low back pain, as well as fixing bad postures or actions in exercise. With extensive experience in sling exercise therapy (SET), yoga, joint mobilization, muscle energy technology (MET), nerve mobilization, strength training, etc., she can make appropriate exercise & rehabilitation plans for people in sub-health state or with obesity, sports enthusiasts or professional athletes.
