Dr. Erica LIU serves as an anesthesiologist at Jiahui Health. Dr. Liu received her MD at the Second Military Medical University, Shanghai. After successful completion of residency training at Changhai hospital, she served as an anesthesiologist from attending physician to associate chief working in the Changhai hospital. During that period, she also completed a total of two years’ visiting study at the University of Illinois (UIC) in 2014 and VA hospital of University of California San Diego (UCSD) in 2018.

Prior to joining Jiahui Health, Dr. Liu worked at Shanghai 7th People’s Hospital, where she served in various capacities, including associate department chair of anesthesiology, management of pain clinic, and Deputy Chief of medical Services. Dr. Liu has 16 years of experience in clinical practice and excels in anesthesia for neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, labor analgesia and analgesia for cancer patients. Furthermore, Dr. Liu is good at perioperative management of critical ill patients and has special interest in surgery patient’s outcome. In particular, she is keen on achieving enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) via refined and high-quality perioperative management to help surgical patients return to a normal life as soon as possible. She believes high quality perioperative management is important for surgery patient’s outcome.
