Dr. Jie ZHAO currently serves as an attending physician in Critical Care Medicine of Jiahui International Hospital. Dr. Zhao obtained her bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and master degree of Internal Medicine from the same college in 2004. Then Dr. Zhao received emergency medicine residency training and fellowship training in Xinhua Hospital and has been employed as an attending physician in emergency ICU since 2009. During the period, she went to Froedtert Hospital affiliated to Medical College of Wisconsin to take an emergency training program from 2007.10-2007.11. After that, she went to the short-term training in McMaster University and received the certification of PBL (problem based learning) in 2014. She participated in the writing of several books in the area of emergency, trauma and critical illness, and published 9 research articles in recognized kernel journals in Chinese and English. She also participated in 8 school or municipal level projects as the first to third undertakers. Based on years of clinical front-line working experience and professional knowledge accumulation. Dr. Zhao is proficient in theories and techniques of intensive care, including endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring technique, central venous catheterization, CRRT, bronchoscopy, abdominal puncture, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, bone marrow puncture, bedside critical ultrasound and other clinical techniques. She is certified with Chinese Critical Care Certified Course (5C License) from Chinese Medical Association and has participated in the annual conference training of SCCM (American Society of critical care medicine) regularly. Dr. Zhao is also certificated as the instructor of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), and National Disaster Life Support (NDLS).
