Dr. Ronald Beaudreau serves as an Emergency physician at Jiahui Health. Dr. Beaudreau obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in the United States. He completed his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins University/Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1995. He successfully obtained his American Board of Emergency Medicine certification in 1996 and is a Fellow of The American Academy of Emergency Physicians. Before coming to China full time in 2009, he worked extensively in Emergency Medicine in multiple hospitals in the USA . He also worked with a leading international medical assistance company to provide medical evacuations worldwide and has provided medical advice and assistance to several orphan care foundations in China. Prior to joining Jiahui Health, he has worked in the emergency department of an international hospital in Shanghai for the past 9 years.
In addition to his extensive clinical experience in the US and China, he has done volunteer medical work in many countries worldwide including Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Zambia, Kenya and Ethiopia. Because of this interest in International Medicine he completed his diploma in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers Health at West Virginia University in 2016 and obtained the CTropMed Certificate from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in November of 2016.
