Dr. ZHANG Yingfan, M.D., is currently the Associate Chief Physician and Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Dr. ZHANG has been engaged in the clinical work of plastic surgery for nearly 20 years, focusing on details and pursuing the harmony and beauty of the overall facial features.

Dr. ZHANG has published more than 50 medical papers since he started his medical career, including more than 10 SCI-indexed articles in English. He has undertaken the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai Municipality, and was awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and is the first case of Chinese plastic surgery to have his academic papers published in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). He is the first Chinese plastic surgeon to publish an academic paper in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM for short).
