Education & Career‌：
•   1985–1991‌: Studied at the Department of Medicine, Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University)
•   1991–Present‌: Assigned to Huashan Hospital, where he has engaged in clinical work in hand surgery and microsurgery.
•   1993–1999‌: Pursued postgraduate studies part-time, earning a Master's degree (1996) and a Ph.D. (1999) under the mentorship of Professors Xu Jianguang and Gu Yudong.
•   2002‌: Conducted postdoctoral research at Hannover Medical School in Germany, focusing on tissue engineering and plastic surgery under the guidance of Professor A. Berger

‌Clinical Expertise‌：
Dr. Hu specializes in:
•   Brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries, including obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP) and late-stage functional reconstruction.
•   Peripheral nerve entrapment, hand fractures/tendon injuries, congenital limb deformities, and hand tumor management.
•   Microsurgical repair, skeletal/tendon surgeries, and congenital deformity correction.

Academic & Research Contributions‌：
•   Participated in National Natural Science Foundation projects, "973" trauma research, and Ministry of Health-funded studies.
•   Awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Ministry of Education, First Prize for Medical Science in Shanghai, and Second Prize for Science and Technology in Shanghai
•   Published over 20 SCI and nationally recognized papers4.
