    Dr. PENG Chenghong is a multi-site practicing physician at Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. He is Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor,who earned his Ph.D. in General Surgery from Zhejiang Medical University in 1993. From March 1997 to March 1998, he worked as a visiting scholar at the Multi-Organ Transplant Center of the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Surgical Research Institute of Zhejiang University, Director of the Surgical Research Laboratory of the Second Department of Medicine at Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and Director of the Second Department of Surgery at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Currently, he holds the positions of Director of the Department of General Surgery at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Deputy Director of the Organ Transplant Center at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He is also the Chairman of the Robotic Surgeon Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Pancreatic Surgery Group of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Organ Transplantation Society of the Chinese Medical Association, Vice Chairman of the Biliary Tract Tumor Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Vice Chairman of the Robotic Surgery Group of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Chairman of the General Surgery Society of the Shanghai Medical Association. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including Chinese Journal of Surgery, Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine, Chinese Journal of Practical Surgery, Journal of Surgery Concepts & Practice, Journal of Abdominal Surgery, and Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery. Dr. Peng has conducted in-depth research on liver transplantation and performed China's first split liver transplant, first in-situ auxiliary partial deceased donor liver transplant, and first multi-organ combined transplant. He is highly skilled in various upper abdominal surgeries, with particular expertise in pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic head cancer (including pancreaticoduodenectomy combined with portal vein resection), radical surgery for hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and the management of retroperitoneal tumors. The clinical research projects he has led have received multiple grants and awards from national, provincial, and health department natural science funds. Among these, the innovative surgical technique "Establishment of the CUSA Anatomical Method and Research on the Multifunctional Surgical Dissector" won the second prize of the National Technology Invention Award in 2001, and the project "Technical Innovation and Clinical Application of Minimally Invasive Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery" won the first prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2013. With years of experience in performing minimally invasive hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries, his volume of robotic minimally invasive pancreatic surgeries is the highest in Asia and among the world's leaders. He has performed over 700 robotic pancreatic surgeries, including more than 200 robotic pancreaticoduodenectomies.
