Dr. SUN Jie is a specially appointed expert in Pediatric Surgery at Jiahui Hospital. He serves as the Director of the Department of Urology at Shanghai Children's Medical Center, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine / National Children's Medical Center. He holds the positions of Chief Physician, Professor, Doctor of Medicine, and Doctoral Supervisor.

Dr. SUN has been engaged in clinical work and scientific research in pediatric urology for many years. He completed his advanced training at the Children's Hospital affiliated with the University of Chicago in the United States. His expertise includes laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery, ureteroscopic lithotripsy, surgical treatment of benign and malignant genitourinary tumors, as well as pacemaker modulation for neurogenic bladder.

Throughout his career, he has published over 100 papers in nationally indexed journals, dozens of papers in international SCI-indexed journals, participated in the writing of more than 10 monographs, and holds multiple patents with one clinical translation achievement. He has actively participated in numerous domestic and international academic exchanges. He has successively led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project funded by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and one key project funded by the Health and Family Planning Commission. He has also participated as a key member in two major clinical studies of the Shanghai Hospital Development Center. He serves as an editorial board member for several domestic and international journals.
