Dr. CHEN Weiwen currently serves as a Gastroenterologist at Jiahui Health. He graduated from China Medical University with a Bachelor of Medicine in Clinical Medicine in 2015, and obtained a Master of Internal Medicine from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College in 2018. During his studies, he published the paper "Dynamic Evolution of Liver Stiffness in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients after Long-term Antiviral Therapy" in Fudan University medical journal. He completed his standardized residency training at Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University.
Dr. CHEN has previously worked in gastroenterology and endoscopy at Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji University and another international hospital in Shanghai. He underwent further training in gastroenterology and endoscopy at several renowned Japanese institutions, including Fukuoka University Hospital, Juntendo University Hospital, and Nihon University Hospital, and obtained a short-term medical practitioner qualification for overseas physicians in Japan. Dr. CHEN specializes in gastroenterology (including gastrointestinal and chronic liver diseases) and endoscopic diagnosis and treatment, covering areas such as viral hepatitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers, endoscopic polyp treatment, diagnosis of early gastric cancer, and internal hemorrhoid treatment. He is also proficient in performing endoscopic ultrasound, enteroscopy, Stretta procedure, etc.
Dr. CHEN currently holds memberships in the following professional associations: the Digestive Endoscopy Society of Taiwan, the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, the Gastroenterology Branch of the Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, and serves as a committee member of the Youth Collaboration Group on Colonic Diseases under the Digestive Endoscopy Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
