Dr. XUE Peng is the Assistant to Chief of Medical Oncology at Jiahui International Cancer Center. Dr. XUE specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors, with particular expertise in gastrointestinal cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, and lung cancer.
Dr. XUE graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University with Bachelor degree in 2000. He then spent three years conducting research at the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes at Shanghai Cancer Institute (2000–2003). In 2006, he achieved Master degree in Medical Oncology at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Before joining Jiahui Health, Dr. XUE had worked for many years in the Medical Oncology Department of Shanghai General Hospital since 2006, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Medical Oncology during the work. Dr. XUE was awarded the Sasagawa Fellowship for academic funding and participated in pancreatic cancer research as a visiting scholar in Kyoto University Hospital in Japan from 2012 to 2013. He has published several peer-reviewed papers in the field of chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer patients.
He is currently a member of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology and Japan-china Medical Association.
