Dr. SU Hongjie，chief physician，serves in Thoracic Surgery Department at Jiahui Health as a consultant. With more than 23 years of clinical experience in thoracic surgery. Dr. SU is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic diseases, especially for tumor, trauma, and critical diseases of chest. Dr. Su’s specialties include but are not limited to:
· Thoracic trauma: hemoneumothorax, rib fracture, sternal fracture, penetrating injury of lung and heart, severe multiple trauma, flail chest, etc.
· Thoracic tumor: GGO, GGN, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumor, etc.
· Spontaneous diseases: spontaneous neumothorax, spontaneous hemoneumothorax, spontaneous esophageal rapture, etc.
· Chest wall diseases: funnel chest, pigeon chest, palmar hyperhidrosis, arcus costarum malformation, chest wall tumor, etc.
· Heart diseases: congenital heart disease, coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, great vascular diseases, etc.

Dr. SU received his medical degree at Chongqing Medical University. In 2023, he accepted senior training at Shanghai Chest Hospital. He had worked in public Grade A tertiary hospital in China since graduation, and gained plenty of experience.

Dr. SU was assigned by the Ministry of Health of China from 2012 to 2014 to participate in the National Medical Team to Papua New Guinea, serving as a thoracic surgery specialist at Port Moresby General Hospital. He presided over a scientific research project of Chongqing Health and Family Planning Commission, published a monograph and more than 10 papers.
