    Dr. LI Jun is a Distinguished Surgical Expert at Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital and currently works at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital.


    Dr. LI graduated at the Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University), having the internship at Zhongshan Hospital and the Master degree at Cancer Hospital, Shanghai Medical University. He received the MD degree at the University of Essen in Germany and further the surgical training thereafter. He built his career in four prestigious European University Hospitals (Essen, London, Tübingen, Hamburg), with specialty of Surgery, General Surgery, Visceral Surgery, Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery and Transplantation. Prior to Jiahui, he was in charge of Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, one of the five “Center of Excellence for Liver Surgery (DGAV)” in Germany.

    Dr. LI has fundamental interesting in the surgical treatment of liver, biliary tract and pancreas disease. He made many surgical innovations. Some of them were published in the international prestigious journal. Applying the transplant technique and strategy on the treatment of cancers (as the part of transplant oncology) and performing minimal invasive surgery including robotic surgery (Da Vinci) are his current main focuses.

    Dr. LI specializes in surgical techniques including but not limited to:
    ● Treatment of hepato-pancreatico-biliary malignancy, especially HCC, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, perihilar cholangiocarcinom, gall bladder cancer, pancreas cancer and complex resection and reconstruction, including surgical palliation.
    ● Treatment of benign diseases of liver, biliary tract and pancreas, such as gall stone disease, iatrogenic biliary injury, intrahepatic stone disease, cystic liver lesion, portal hypertension. Many surgeries could be performed laparoscopically. Large part of liver benign tumor may not require a surgery. Some patients with jaundice can be treated non-surgically.
    ● Treatment of peritoneal and retroperitoneal tumor, which requiring reconstruction of large or small vessels, biliary tract, intestinal and even ureter.
    ● Treatment of gastro-intestinal tumor, including gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, tumor of the small bowel, gastrointestinal stromal tumor.
    ● Lymph nodes biopsy and lymphadnectomy in the area of neck, axillar, groin, abdomen or pelvis.
    ● Varies of laparoscopic operation, including liver resection, distal pancreas resection, gastrointestinal resection and reconstruction, cholecystectomy and hernia repair.

    Dr. Andy SUI is currently the Section Head of the General Surgery Department and Ambulatory Surgery Center at Jiahui Medical and serves as an Associate Chief Physician.  After obtaining the Master Degree in Surgery from Second Military Medical University and he worked in Changhai Hospital for more than ten years. In 2019 he visited Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong and the University of Tokyo Hospital, and obtained the da Vinci Robotic Operation System certificate.


    As a colorectal surgeon, Dr. SUI is skilled in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal and colorectal diseases, including anal diseases such as hemorrhoids and anal fistula, gastroenteroscopy, gastrointestinal diseases and tumors. He is very experienced in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal tumors, including complex and special types of surgery, for example, Dr. SUI has successfully performed NOSES and TaTME surgeries for rectal cancer, especially the low anus-retained operation.     Dr. Louis PAN is the Section Head of Endocrine Surgery, as attending surgeon in Department of General Surgery of Jiahui Health.

    He obtained his PhD degree in General Surgery from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a research interest in minimally invasive surgical technology. He has published more than ten academic research articles on major professional journals, including Chinese local and international peer review journals (SCI). Based on his research, Dr. Pan published papers and gave presentations at a number of international academic conferences (including 2015 World Congress of Surgery (WCS) and 2016 Digestive Disease Week® (DDW)). Dr. Louis PAN obtained his master's degree in Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2005, during which he completed the internship and surgical training program in Hôpital Civil in Strasbourg, France.

    Dr. Michael TANG serves as a surgeon at Jiahui Health and participates in clinical work in general surgery department.     Dr. Souya Nunobe is a specially invited expert at Jiahui Health and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Hospital and Director of the Department of Gastric Surgery at the Cancer Institute Hospital in Japan.

    Since 1996, Dr. Nunobe has been dedicated to the field of gastric cancer surgery. He completed his residency and specialized training at top Japanese institutions, including the University Hospital of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and the National Cancer Center Hospital. He studied under renowned gastric cancer surgery experts, Professor Takeshi Sano and Professor Mitsuru Sasako, where he systematically acquired the core concepts and techniques of surgical oncology.

    Starting in 2005, he actively promoted the application of minimally invasive surgery in gastric cancer treatment and introduced robotic-assisted surgery in 2019. Dr. Nunobe previously served as an Assistant Professor in Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo.
