On 20 December 2025, Jiahui International Hospital hosted its 7th Christmas Family Day, welcoming more than 100 families for a day of parent–child activities and free health consultations. The event combined seasonal fun with practical health education, from developmental screening and nutrition advice to vaccination information, and brought back many infants born at the hospital, where staff greeted them and their parents with warm reunions.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration Across Departments: Strengthening our Health Defenses
Jiahui Health puts patients first through coordinated, multidisciplinary care across the life cycle: from preconception and pregnancy to childbirth, newborn care, and maternal recovery. Physicians from multiple disciplines, including obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, assisted reproductive technology (IVF), dentistry, and dermatology, set up a dedicated health consultation area to provide visiting families with one-stop, personalized health consultations and assessments, integrating professional medical care into a relaxed setting.
Dr. Sun Xiaoxi, Executive Director of the Fertility and Reproductive Medicine Center, and Dr. Rose Yu, Associate Chief Physician of Pediatrics, extended sincere holiday greetings to all families at the event. They emphasized that modern health management relies on multidisciplinary collaboration and a commitment to a patient-centered and family-based approach. Jiahui Health uses its multidisciplinary hospital resources to offer continuous care for couples of childbearing age: preconception counseling, assisted reproduction, pregnancy management, newborn care, child health, maternal rehabilitation, and family health management. This treatment model ensures that every medical decision is thoroughly evaluated from multiple perspectives, helping every family achieve the best health outcomes.

Family-Centered Care Goes Beyond Treatment
The event featured numerous interactive activities, reflecting Jiahui Health’s emphasis on "holistic care." Parent-child interactive dances tailored to different age groups and holiday-themed crafts guided by clinical nutritionists not only strengthened parent-child bonds but also conveyed exercise and nutrition knowledge in a fun way, advocating for a healthy lifestyle.
A special Holiday Carnival was held on-site, in collaboration with over ten partner organizations including Shanghai Pinghe Bilingual School (Qingpu), Meituan Pharmacy, Babycare, MUSEE FOTO, Lakto, The Little Bridge, Jitterbugs, grin, Shanghai Yew Chung International School, UFITS, Clarins, Improve Education, PLAYGOLF, NIO, and Nest Designs. Through fun interactions and heartwarming gifts, a supportive community atmosphere was created.
