Scientific progress has provided the possibility of early detection of lung cancer. Chest CT scans can find abnormal lesions as small as 2-3 mm. These lung nodules are abnormal tissue with increased lung density found in chest CT scans: Micro-nodules with a diameter of 3-4 mm, each about the size of a mung bean, and small nodules 5-6 mm in diameter, just like the size of a soybean. It is often asked whether such nodules are related to tumors. It should be noted that lung nodules are potential tumors until they are proven to be benign.
There are typically no symptoms for lung nodules. A lung nodule is often found incidentally when chest CT is used for health examinations or for other reasons.
We provide convenient one-stop service for clinical management of lung nodules. Our respiratory experts and medical imaging team will jointly study, compare and evaluate the nature of each nodule, and study the changes of nodules at different time points, so as to make appropriate decision. He is good at the treatment of critical respiratory diseases by the technique of whole lung lavage under general anesthesia to treat pulmonary proteinosis which he is at the leading level in China. He has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough.
