Dr. DONG Chenbin is a specially appointed expert in Pediatric Surgery at Jiahui Hospital. He serves as the Director of the Department of Pediatric Plastic, Burn, and Skin Surgery, Chief Physician, Doctor of Medicine, Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor.

Dr. DONG graduated from the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. He has pursued visiting studies and exchanges at the Beijing Plastic Surgery Hospital and the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Oral Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a volunteer for Operation Smile, he participates annually in free charity cleft lip and palate surgery missions both in China and abroad.

His primary research focus is on the clinical and basic study of congenital craniofacial deformities. As the first or corresponding author, he has published 15 SCI papers and over 20 articles in Chinese core journals. He has filed 14 invention and utility model patents, of which 1 invention patent and 10 utility model patents have been authorized, and 1 patent has undergone clinical transformation. He has received numerous honors, including the Shanghai Youth Position Expert, and the "May 4th Youth Medal" from the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission.
