Dr. HUANG Yangqing graduated from the Naval Medical University with a Doctor's degree in Clinical medicine. He has worked in the Dongfang Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital of Naval Medical University for nearly 20 years. He is now the Chief of Service (COS) and chief physician of the Hepatobiliary Surgery Department of Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, and the master's supervisor of Fudan University. In 2017, he was awarded the first "Top Ten Outstanding Doctors" by Fudan University Medical School (formerly Shanghai Medical College).
The diseases and surgical procedures that Dr Wong specializes in including but not limited to:
- Diagnosis of liver cancer and other benign and malignant liver diseases, including primary liver cancer, metastatic liver cancer (such as liver metastasis of bowel cancer), hepatic hemangioma, hepatic cysts, focal nodular hyperplasia of liver, and surgical treatment including laparoscopic hepatectomy, minimally invasive surgery represented by radiofrequency or microwave ablation of liver tumors, and open hepatectomy
- Benign and malignant diseases of the biliary tract, including the diagnosis of gallstones, cholangiolithiasis, gallbladder cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, cholangiocarcinectomy, choledocholithotomy and other minimally invasive and open operations
- Diagnosis of benign and malignant diseases of pancreas, including pancreatic cancer, pancreatic calculus, pancreatic cyst, pancreatic IPMN and other diseases, performing minimally invasive or open laparoscopic surgery
- Portal hypertension splenomegaly hypersplenism, comprehensive treatment with minimally invasive laparoscopic splenectomy
- Gastrointestinal benign and malignant diseases, including the diagnosis of gastric and intestinal cancer, minimally invasive laparoscopic and open surgery;
- Conservative treatment of hepatobiliary, pancreatic and gastrointestinal malignancies, including tumor chemotherapy, targeted and immunotherapy, external biliary drainage to relieve biliary obstruction, supportive treatment of tumor patients, etc.
Dr. Huang also serves in academic organizations such as Liver Cancer Professional Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Biliary Tumor Professional Committee of Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association, Portal Hypertension and splenectomy Professional Group of Shanghai Medical Association Surgery Branch. He regularly participates in industry exchanges, and participates in the formulation of national diagnosis and treatment guidelines, expert consensus or industry standards covering the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer and cholangiocarcinoma.
