Dr. Carrie DU graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University in 2003. After graduation, she commenced her career at Shanghai Mental Health Center in various departments including general wards, geriatric wards, special care units, and chronic disease wards that helped her to accumulates solid professional knowledge and extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. Since 2016, she has been working as an outpatient physician and providing psychiatric consultations for inpatient departments at a comprehensive tertiary hospital in Shenzhen. In 2020, she joined JiaHui Health.

Dr. Du is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, adolescent emotional disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social phobia, and schizophrenia. Additionally, Dr. Du provides rehabilitation advice and psychological education. The services are tailored for adolescents, working professionals, elderly individuals, as well as expatriates residing in Shanghai.

Dr. Du obtained the National Level 2 Psychological Counselor Certificate in 2017 and joined the comprehensive trainings include: Chinese Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Foundation Course, specialized training in specific disorders such as depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), interpersonal relationship therapy, short-term psychological treatment. Case involvement includes psychological stress, marital issues, workplace problems, adolescent school refusal, etc.

In 2020, Dr. Du provided psychological support and psychiatric treatment services for transit quarantine individuals at the Shenzhen Bay Port during the pandemic period, demonstrating her commitment to fulfilling professional responsibilities. She was also responsible for conducting primary screenings for mental health during conscription physical examinations within her district from 2016 to 2020, enabling her to develop rapid screening abilities. Dr. Louis PAN is a general surgeon at Jiahui Health. He obtained his PhD in General Surgery from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a research interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has published more than ten academic research articles on major professional journals, including Chinese local and international peer review journals (SCI). Based on his research, Dr. Pan published papers and gave presentations at a number of international academic conferences (including 2015 World Congress of Surgery (WCS) and 2016 Digestive Disease Week® (DDW)). Dr. Pan obtained his master’s degree in Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2005, during which he completed the internship and surgical training at Hopital Civil in Strasbourg. Prior to joining Jiahui Health, Dr. Pan was an attending surgeon in the Department of General Surgery at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital Luwan Branch. With nearly twenty years of clinical work in surgery, he has extensive experience in treating common diseases in general surgery, such as surgical procedure on thyroid lesions, laparoscopic operations on bile ducts and hernia repair. He received accreditation for the Da Vinci robotic surgical system.

Dr. Pan specializes in treating various diseases, including but not limited to:

• Thyroid/parathyroid conditions (benign and malignant), including using endoscopic approach without scar left in neck.
• Hernia, especially using minimally invasive surgical approach, laparoscopic hernia repair.
• Digestive diseases which need surgical interventions including emergent procedures, like biliary calculosis, benign gastrointestinal tumors and inflammatory disorders (appendicitis, diverticulitis and inflammatory bowel diseases)

Dr. LIU Rong currently serves as a cardiologist in Jiahui Health. Dr. Liu obtained her bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine from Shanxi Medical University in 2001. Later in 2005, she got a master’s degree in cardiology from Tongji University School of Medicine. She was once a visiting scholar at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for one year. Prior to joining Jiahui Health, Dr. Liu worked as an attending physician in the Department of Cardiology at Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Liu is an expert in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions and diseases, such as hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmia, hyperlipidemia, cardiomyopathy and so on. She is also experienced in diagnosing coronary heart disease (CHD) by using non-traumatic and interventional procedures, especially good at using medicine and interventional procedures to treat CHD.

Dr. LIU Sheng is an anesthesiologist at Jiahui Health. Dr. Liu Graduated from Tongji University School of Medicine, obtaining his master’s degree in clinical medicine. Prior to joining Jiahui Health, he worked as an anesthesiologist at Shanghai East Hospital affiliated to Tongji University. He was engaged in anesthesia management in thoracic surgery, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, neurosurgery, pediatrics and so on. Dr. Sheng Liu is skilled in preoperative evaluation and making anesthesia plan for elderly patients. During his visit to the Wake Forest University, he observed a large number of cases of deep sedation under intravenous anesthesia in severely overweight patients, accumulating extensive experience in comfort therapy and airway management. 

Dr. Liu is certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) as an instructor in basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ACLS) training. Dr. Liu is a member of the Emergency and Critical Care Committee of Shanghai Association of Social Medical Institutions, and a member of the Chinese Society of integrated Traditional and Western Medicine Anesthesiology Committee.

Dr. Lisa LOU is currently the Associate Chief Physician of Plastic Surgery at Jiahui Health. Dr. Lou graduated from the Second Military Medical University with a PhD in Plastic Surgery and is an Associate Chief Physician. She completed her clinical research training at the Technical University of Lodz in Poland and Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the United States. Before joining Jiahui, she has been working in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Shanghai Changhai Hospital, with more than fifteen years of professional plastic surgery clinical and research experience. She is skilled in performing popular plastic surgery related procedures, including facial rejuvenation surgery, rhinoplasty, breast surgery (breast augmentation, breast ptosis correction, breast reduction, gynecomastia, paramastia, etc.), body liposuction, scar repair, minimally invasive removal of axillary odour, excision of whole body skin and soft tissue tumors, and fine restoration, etc. She is especially good at (1) cosmetic eyelid surgery, repair and reconstruction, (2) facial rejuvenation with injections and surgeries, and (3) breast plastic surgery.

Dr. Lou is a member of the Standing Committee of the Fat Branch of the Chinese Society of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, a member of the Fat Subspecialty Committee of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Physicians Association, a member of the Second Burn Trauma Committee of the Chinese Association of Women Physicians, and a member of the Aesthetic Medicine Committee of the Chinese Society of Research Hospitals. She has been engaged in basic research on wound repair for many years, and has presided over and participated in a number of national, Shanghai and university funds as the project leader and main participant. She has published 6 SCI articles and 9 articles in Chinese core journals as the first author and corresponding author, with a total impact factor of 21.86 points, including the highest single impact factor of 7.36 points (Cancer Lett). Dr. Lou is the associate editor of one book and co-editor of another. Dr. Lou is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and examiner for the Chinese National Physician Qualification Examination in Shanghai.

Dr. PANG Can is the Chief of Endocrinology and Metabolism. She is now the member of the 2nd committee of the Endocrine and Diabetes Professional Committee of the China Association of Non-government Medical Institutions and the member of the 1st committee of Endocrinology and Metabolism Society of Shanghai Xuhui District Medical Association. She used to be the member of the 8th committee of diabetic retinopathy group of Chinese Diabetes Society. In 2012, Dr. Pang was selected as a member of the first “Shanghai Youth Doctors Training and Supporting Program”. She was awarded “Shanghai Outstanding Young Doctors” in 2016. She also participated in writing the Strategy Research Report of The Translational Medicine Development in Diabetes and Related Metabolic Disease Prevention and Control, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China’s first Expert Consensus on Prevention and Control of Diabetic Retinopathy, Integrated Management of The Medical Path for Type 1 Diabetes in China.

Dr. Can PANG obtained her master degree of endocrinology from Zhongshan University in 2005. Later in 2008, she got a PhD degree of endocrine and metabolism in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Before becoming a member of Jiahui, she had been working as an endocrinologist at Shanghai No. Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University and was appointed as an associate chief physician of endocrine. Dr. Pang is an expert in diagnosing and treating diseases of endocrine and metabolism. She is skilled in prevention and control of metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, obesity, gout, osteoporosis, dyslipidemia, providing professional advices on diet instruction and patient education. Dr. Pang also excels at solving complicated health problems in thyroid/parathyroid diseases, adrenal diseases, pituitary diseases, and polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc. She believes in offering individualized, professional, interdisciplinary therapy to each patient and is always committed to it.

Candice YANG, Physical Therapist. She graduated from Wenzhou Medical University and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy in 2013. She got her Master's degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2017. Before joining Jiahui, she completed physical therapy training program on orthopedic rehab and sports injuries in Karolinska Institute (KI) in Stockholm, Sweden. She got certified on Manual Lymphedema Drainage (MLD) by Dr. Vodder Akademie in 2018 and joined Lymphedema training program in the cancer center of Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) the year after. In 2021, she had her International Lymphedema Therapist Certification authorized by Casley-Smith, Australia.

In the past 10 years above, she provided onsite medial support for various international competitions such as ATP Rolex Shanghai Masters, Shanghai International Track and Field Diamond League and Hong Kong Football Club Rugby 10’s. She also dedicated to medical popularization and publicity, participated in the compilation and publication of a number of professional books. She was named as the “New Celebrity” of Shanghai Sports and Health Science Popularization in 2023.

Candice specializes in various orthopedic and tumor post-operative rehabilitation, including but not limited to: fracture, rotator cuff injury, ACL reconstruction, meniscus injury, Achilles tendon rupture, axillary web syndrome, lymphedema, postoperative scar adhesion, etc. In addition, she has rich clinical experience in spine disorders caused by poor posture in office workers and performance enhancement for sports people.
