WANG Wei, MD, PhD, MPH, she completed her medical degree and has practiced over 20 years in China. She earned her master and PhD degree from Harvard University of and University Pittsburgh in USA. She joined Shanghai Children's Hospital, Shanghai Institute of Medical Genetics, Shanghai Jiaotong University as a chief clinician in 2012 and was named associate professor of pediatrics.

Dr. WANG is recognized as a professional physician leading in the field of clinical genetics. She directed her research on high throughput genomics. She currently focuses on the diagnosis and interventional management of rare and unresolved disorders and health problems in children and families, including genetic counseling of pretest and post- test, precisive diagnosis, clinical interventions and management plans. Specifically, she pioneered as an expertise in newborn screening, pre-pregnancy carrier screening, precisive diagnosis of rare disorders and developmental delays in children. Dr. Liang Wei, Chief Physician and graduate supervisor, holds a Ph.D. in Vascular Surgery. He is currently a multi-site practicing physician at Jiahui Health. Dr. FAN Zhuping, MD, PhD, postgraduate research supervisor and associate professor of the Department of Gastroenterology at Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She previously served as the Director of the Health Care Center.

Dr. FAN specializes in gastrointestinal and chronic liver diseases, especially viral hepatitis and non-viral liver diseases such as fatty liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, and drug-induced liver disease. Her expertise also encompasses liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and their complications.

As one of the main contributors, Dr. FAN completed the Shanghai municipal study “Clinical Research on the Anti-Gastrointestinal Tumor Effects of Parvovirus,” which was awarded the Second Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. She also completed research on “The Pathogenesis and Prevention of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease” and “The Effects of Lipids on the Biological Activity of Hepatic Stellate Cells,” both of which received the Third Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
