FAN Zhuping (External Specialist), MD, PhD

Dr. FAN Zhuping, MD, PhD, postgraduate research supervisor and associate professor of the Department of Gastroenterology at Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She previously served as the Director of the Health Care Center.
Dr. FAN specializes in gastrointestinal and chronic liver diseases, especially viral hepatitis and non-viral liver diseases such as fatty liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, and drug-induced liver disease. Her expertise also encompasses liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and their complications.
As one of the main contributors, Dr. FAN completed the Shanghai municipal study “Clinical Research on the Anti-Gastrointestinal Tumor Effects of Parvovirus,” which was awarded the Second Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. She also completed research on “The Pathogenesis and Prevention of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease” and “The Effects of Lipids on the Biological Activity of Hepatic Stellate Cells,” both of which received the Third Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. Additionally, her research on “The Effects of Lipids on the Formation of Fatty Liver and Liver Fibrosis” was awarded the Second Prize by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. In recent years, she has published 8 SCI papers as the corresponding author. And serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including the International Journal of Digestive Diseases, Liver (Chinese edition), Journal of Digestive Diseases, World Clinical Drugs, and Chinese Journal of Health Management.
Dr. FAN holds prominent roles in academic and professional societies, including being a committee member of: 1) the Health Management Society of the Chinese Medical Association, 2) the Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, 3) the Chronic Disease Management Branch of the China Medicinal Biotechnology Association; 4) the Health Promotion Professional Committee of the China Health Technology Promotion Association; 5) the Fatty Liver Group within the Hepatology Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, and 6) the Infectious Diseases Branch of the Shanghai Medical Doctor Association. She is also the Vice Chair of the Endoscopy Health Management and Physical Examination Committee under the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the Deputy Director of the Shanghai Fatty Liver Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, and Director of the Evidence-Based Medicine Teaching and Research Office at Renji Hospital Clinical Medical College.

Ginger JIN, MD, PhD

Dr. JIN Jue, Ph.D. in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), former Assistant Research Fellow at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford.
Dr. JIN holds a doctorate in TCM and currently serves as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She studied under Dr. ChEN Xiao, a leading expert in Huangdi Neijing studies and head of a National Administration of TCM key academic discipline. Dr. JIN’s research focuses on the modern interpretation and clinical application of classical Chinese medical theories, particularly those from the Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon).
Dr. JIN is the principal investigator of one research project funded by China’s Ministry of Education (Humanities and Social Sciences Fund) and another supported by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission. SANG Yuer (External Specialist), MD

Dr. SANG Yuer, Associate Chief Physician and Master of Medical Science, Department of Gastroenterology, Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University in 1993 and joined Xinhua Hospital the same year. In 2006, she received her Master's degree in Internal Medicine from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
Dr. SANG has been working in gastroenterology since 1994. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various digestive diseases, such as reflux esophagitis, peptic ulcers, liver cirrhosis, and inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease). FANG Dingzhu (External Specialist), MD, PhD

Dr. FANG has practiced medicine for more than 38 years. She is an experienced pediatric pulmonologist, chief physician at Pediatric Pulmonology Department at Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She is well trained for diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric respiratory illness, also known to be expert on managing complex respiratory diseases such infant wheezing, childhood asthma, chronic cough, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, frequent upper respiratory illness and refractory pneumonia.

Dr. FAN Yingrui graduated from China Medical University. He worked in the Central Hospital Of Minhang District(Now known as Minhang Branch, Zhongshan Hospital) for the standardized training of resident doctors in the Department of Stomatology. Then he worked as the chief resident in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Shanghai Fengcheng Hospital(Medical Union of Shanghai Ninth People’ Hospital). She moved back to Shanghai in 2012 after she fulfilled a 3-year full-time postgraduate program
and achieved a Master Degree of Dental Surgery in the University of Hong Kong. She was taught by a
